5 ways to make influencer Stories count before they disappear.
Your Christmas event lasts a night and its Stories last a day, and after that their numbers can’t be pulled, so the work starts before the party.
A lot of a Christmas event gets shared in Stories, but a Story deletes itself after 24 hours, and Meta’s developer documents say its numbers can only be pulled for those 24 hours unless the influencer saves it to a highlight. If you’ve ever set a 10:45pm alarm on a Sunday to screenshot someone else’s Story, you’ll know the problem.
1. Agree how you’ll get the numbers
Put it in the brief: each influencer either connects their Instagram to your tool, or sends a screenshot of each Story’s insights within 24 hours.
In Justify: influencers who connect their Instagram to Justify send their Stories in with reach and taps back, using none of your credits.
2. Count who posted, not who came
Check how many of your guests posted, and whether their Stories tagged your brand or only the venue.
In Justify: a Story count for every influencer on the campaign, a filter for the Stories that tag your brand, and you can mark any it missed.
3. Save them while they’re live
Any Story posted tonight is gone 24 hours later unless someone saves it.
In Justify: Story tracking looks at each influencer’s public Stories once a day and saves what it finds, so switch it on the day before the event. Looking at influencers who haven’t connected uses your plan’s credits.
4. Report from a single place
See every Story by day and by influencer, with its files ready for the deck.
In Justify: download a spreadsheet of every Story, and its files, straight from the campaign.
5. Know what each Story sold
Give each influencer their own link or promo code, so the sales show up against their name, and treat that as the floor rather than the full count.
In Justify: sales for every influencer from your Shopify or WooCommerce shop, by promo code and link, one of the answers in how to decide which influencers to book again.
